The meeting focused on the mission of the EHU, its international profile, current reforms, and funding possibilities.
The big attention was paid to the question of scholarships and grants for EHU students, the languages of instruction, and selectable courses in different languages. It was agreed to put mutual efforts into the relaunch of a series of discussion course on German language for Politics/German and European Politics and to have joint cultural initiatives in the near future.
It is important to note that KAS was the initiator and sponsor of the opening of Konrad Adenauer auditorium in EHU in 2018. The auditorium has an exhibition wall and other items represent the legacy of Konrad Adenauer. Konrad Adenauer auditorium will be renovated and will be re-opened with the new exhibition.
